___________
As queer people, we are defined by those we love, desire and have sex with.
We are often viewed through a white, cis, hetero-patriarchal lens, or we view ourselves through such a lens. However, this lens is not broad enough to encompass all the different ways in which we manifest ourselves.
As a systemic sex and couples therapist, I give particular thought to how I can navigate queer relationships with the clients present in the therapy room.
I want to create a safe space, free from heteronormative, binary perspectives, for the LGBTQIA*, QTBIPOC & S+ communities and their allies. A place for conversations, support in difficult life situations, and help with questions about sexuality, relationships, gender and one’s own sexuality, amongst other things.
__________
I am here to support you as we work together on the issues that concern you. I draw on methods and techniques from systemic and body-oriented couples and sex therapy, as well as from coaching.
My approach is process- and experience-oriented. In other words, I aim to create spaces for experience and provide therapeutic support for the processes that unfold within them.

Can your treatment be covered by your health insurance through a medical prescription?
In some cases, couples counselling and sex therapy may be covered as part of occupational therapy treatment upon a medical prescription; for this, a diagnosis must be made by a general practitioner.
Please speak to your general practitioner to find out whether an occupational therapy prescription could be issued in your case. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
